President Trump Takes Legacy Air Force One From NATO Summit

The retrofitted Qatari plane was sent to bases for American troops to see.

The White House explained that the use of the legacy Air Force One as President Donald Trump left the NATO Summit in Ankara, Turkey, for Menidenhall, United Kingdom, was a diversionary tactic. President Trump said the retrofitted Qatari plane, which recently began service as Air Force One, was sent to some military bases in the region for U.S. troops to see.

“The new Air Force One is a state-of-the-art aircraft that has been fitted with high-level security protocols that ensure the safety of the President and his staff,” stated White House communications director Steven Cheung. “As the President has said recently, there are many enemies of America who have their sights on him, and we use every tool at our disposal — including distraction and misdirection — to address those threats.”

President Trump spoke about the threats to his life, saying, “The life of a president is very dangerous. It’s 5.2 percent. You know what a race-car driver is? One tenth of one percent. A bull rider, that looks pretty dangerous to me, it’s one tenth of one percent. No, it’s 5.2 percent is, you don’t make it. … It’s a very dangerous profession.“

“I’m number one on the kill list for Iran,“ the president added.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the Lord’s protection over President Trump and officials in his administration.
  • For the president to seek God’s wisdom in his actions and decisions.
